Find yourself at the epicenter of a life-like event at ACOEP’s Mass Casualty Incident Simulation.
ACOEP is teaming up with Chicago’s Public Safety Departments to bring you a drill like nothing you’ve ever experienced.
Work in a realistic field hospital to manage a surge of victims of an MCI, that you will find out about in real-time. Test your ability to react in this ever-changing situation. Anything can happen, and you’ll be expected to deal with changing scenarios and injections.
You’ll also train through hands-on skills labs, giving you practice in medical techniques you need in a mass emergency.
– Field amputations
– Physician go bag demonstrations
After the simulation join in a hot wash to discuss successes, options for improvements, and ways to create an action plan for your hospital.
Return home with the experience to help your hospital prepare for an MCI, and the skills to save lives in the midst of unprecedented chaos. Plus, earn 6 hours of CME!
*A light breakfast and lunch will be included
