Gita Pensa, MD, FAAEM, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University, as well as Associate Director of the Emergency Digital Health Innovation program at Brown. She is a Faculty Strategist for the ALiEM Wellness Think Tank, and speaks nationally on malpractice litigation and litigation stress. She serves on the advisory board for the website PhysicianLitigationStress.org, and teaches about litigation stress to EM residents nationally via CORD-EM. Dr. Pensa is an avid educational podcaster, a new EM:RAP contributor, and is the editor and host of the AEM Early Access podcast in conjunction with the Academic Emergency Medicine journal. She is currently working on a podcast series about medical litigation.
