Shana Ross, DO
Dr. Ross is an assistant professor of emergency medicine and an assistant program director for the University of Illinois at Chicago emergency medicine residency. She attended the Western University of Health Sciences Medical School where she also completed a Pre-Doctoral Teaching Fellowship. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She has expertise in medical education and is currently pursuing a Masters in Health Professions Education. She is passionate about advancing resident education through innovation and simulation, and improving resident physician wellness. She is a mentor for the Academic Life in Emergency Medicine’s Wellness Think Tank and the Chief Resident Incubator. She is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
