What’s in Store?

Earn over 30.0 CME credits through four days of general sessions, networking events, and hands-on workshops designed for today’s emergency physicians. General programming will run Sunday through Wednesday, with paid workshops taking place Wednesday evening and throughout the day on Thursday.

The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACOEP) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The ACOEP designates this program for a maximum of 39.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

FOEM Research Competitions – Fall 2025

The Foundation for Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (FOEM), will host the following research competitions at the 2025 Scientific Assembly. Winners in each category will receive certificates of recognition. Full competition guidelines and deadlines can be found at the link below.

Clinical Pathological Case (CPC) Competition
A signature event of the Scientific Assembly, the CPC Competition features resident-faculty teams from emergency medicine programs. Residents present challenging clinical cases that faculty discussants are tasked with solving. The competition highlights diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making in a dynamic, live format.

Oral Abstract Competition
This competition invites residents and students to present original research relevant to emergency medicine. Presentations are evaluated based on scientific quality, clarity, and relevance. All accepted abstracts must meet FOEM’s formatting and submission guidelines.
