Earn up to 60 CME credits at OMED26
In‑person attendees are eligible to earn up to 60 AOA Category 1 Credits (40 Category 1‑A, 20 Category 1‑B) or 60 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ through the full OMED program.
Emergency medicine physicians can earn up to 17 credits through the ACOEP emergency medicine track, with additional CME available by attending other OMED educational sessions.
In‑person registration includes on‑demand access to recorded sessions after the meeting, allowing attendees to review content or view sessions they were unable to attend live.
What ACOEP Members Should Know

ACOEP Emergency Medicine Programming at OMED 2026
From hands-on procedural skills to practice-changing clinical updates, the ACOEP Emergency Medicine Track offers more than 17 hours of dedicated emergency medicine education at OMED 2026. Programming includes airway management, regional anesthesia, pediatric emergency medicine, stroke and neurology updates, observation medicine, EMS, osteopathic medicine, emerging technology, and professional development.
Highlights include:
- Hands-on procedural training, including the Airway Lab and EM/Anesthesia Regional Block Lab
- Clinical updates across the spectrum of emergency medicine, including pediatrics, neurology, stroke care, toxicology, observation medicine, travel medicine, and resuscitation
- Osteopathic-focused programming, including a collaborative ACOFP & ACOEP OMT Workshop and sessions on OMT applications in the emergency department
- EMS and prehospital medicine updates
- Emerging topics such as artificial intelligence in clinical research and physician decision-making
- The popular EM Over Easy Live Show
- Emergency medicine networking and career development opportunities, including the Residency Fair and Residency Speed Networking Event

ACOFP & ACOEP Collaborative Workshop
OMT Next Level: Systemic Conditions
Registration Fee: $350 Members / $450 Non‑Members (AOA)

Description:
This hands-on workshop focuses on applying osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) to the diagnosis and management of systemic conditions affecting ENT, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary systems.
Participants will review differential diagnosis, identify somatic dysfunction associated with common clinical presentations, and practice targeted OMT techniques through guided instruction and case-based learning. The session emphasizes practical integration of osteopathic principles to support whole-person care and improve patient outcomes.
This module has been approved by AOBFP to count toward OMT recertification requirements.
Resident & Student Opportunities at OMED26
ACOEP-RSO resident and student programming will be integrated throughout OMED 2026, providing opportunities for education, networking, career development, research presentation, and mentorship. Residents and students interested in participating in ACOEP-RSO sessions, activities, and events should plan to register for OMED 2026.

FOEM Research Competitions in Las Vegas – Wednesday, October 21
Join the Foundation for Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (FOEM) the day before OMED begins for two of their annual research competitions:
- Clinical Pathological Case (CPC) Competition
A case-based presentation that walks through diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making, highlighting educational value and patient care insights. - Oral Abstract Competition
An opportunity for researchers to present original work in emergency medicine, showcasing innovation, analysis, and impact.
Selected participants gain national presentation experience, professional recognition, and the opportunity to share their work with leaders in osteopathic emergency medicine.

Caesars Palace is one of the most iconic hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, offering a luxury resort experience with world‑class dining, entertainment, wellness, and conference amenities.
Hotel rooms are available for $368 per night (inclusive) ($279 + $45 resort fee + 13.38% tax).
Hotel cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Cancellation within 3 days, or failure to check in on your scheduled day of arrival will result in a one night’s room and tax penalty charged to the credit card used for guarantee. In addition, be sure to verify check out dates at check-in as an early check-out may result in a fee.
Reservation changes and cancellations can be made with Maritz through Noon on Thursday, October 1st, 2026. Changes can be made by emailing customer service at omed@maritz.com, or on the web. Beginning Monday, October 5th, 2026 changes and cancellations must be made directly with your hotel.
