Learn how to recognise, diagnose and treat cervical artery dissection, subarachnoid hemorrhage and an ischemic stroke.

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:

  • Recognize the risk factors and clinical features of cervical artery dissection
  • Describe appropriate diagnostics and treatment of cervical artery dissection
  • Identify the signs and symptoms of subarachnoid hemorrhage
  • Select an appropriate diagnostic strategy for subarachnoid hemorrhage based on the timing of symptoms and refer patients for appropriate treatment
