Make the Case for Attending
Why Your Organization Should Send You to the ACOEP 2021 Scientific Assembly
We understand. There’s seemingly no letup in work and study obligations and budgets are tighter than ever. While it’s not easy to make the case that attending a conference makes sense, this year’s Scientific Assembly is a win-win proposition for you, your organization or program. Here is some information to help make your case that attending ACOEP’s Scientific Assembly is a sound investment.
The 2021 Scientific Assembly marks a return to in-person meetings for ACOEP and promises to be this year’s leading conference for emergency medicine DO and MD physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, and other health care practitioners. The conference is focused on innovative evidence-based education, hands-on workshops, research opportunities and competitions, special events, awards, and in-person networking with the EM community. With 300+ EM practitioners, professionals and students attending, you are bound to broaden your skills while forging and nurturing connections with colleagues and peers.
Whether you’re just starting out in the field or have years under your belt, there’s always more to learn. With informed speakers, panelists and colleagues from different specialties and fields, the Scientific Assembly is the perfect place to gather knowledge on how the past year has shaped the field and what is on the horizon as we emerge from the pandemic and look to the future.
Attending ACOEP’s 2021 Scientific Assembly is about return on investment. The question for your organization isn’t “Can I go to the ACOEP Scientific Assembly this year?” It’s “Can you afford for me not to attend?” To help make the case, we’ve created a request to attend letter template that you can easily adapt for your organization and a preliminary schedule to share.
We look forward to seeing you at the ACOEP 2021 Scientific Assembly in Washington, DC, October 11–15.
Note: ACOEP is ready to host everyone safely at the event, but is continually monitoring state and local guidelines and will provide registrants and ACOEP members with ongoing updates. We are currently exploring virtual meeting options and if you do register for the in-person meeting and have to change, we’ll accommodate you in this rapidly changing world.
