This is awarded to an educator who has made significant contribution to emergency medical education. The nominee should constitute the caliber of educator who has achieved a pinnacle level and is considered a consummate role model to the emergency medicine community, through inspired and motivated teaching encourages others to achieve their greatest potential; has made contributions for the advancement of emergency medicine education through innovative instruction or design, or has created a compelling vision for the future.

Criteria: The nominee must be a DO or MD or advanced degreed individual who is involved in an approved AOA or ACGME accredited emergency medicine residency or medical toxicology, EMS, pediatric emergency medicine fellowship training program or medical school program.

This is presented to nominee(s) who have developed an innovative process through which the practice of emergency medicine is improved by the implementation of this process.
